Clients should consult with a qualified healthcare provider before booking massage therapy if they have any medical conditions, injuries, or concerns. Massage therapy is not a substitute for professional medical care, physical therapy, or chiropractic treatment.
Client Responsibility
Clients are responsible for informing the therapist of any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, surgeries, or physical limitations before the session begins. This includes but is not limited to:
- Recent injuries
- Chronic pain conditions
- Pregnancy
- Surgeries
- Cardiovascular conditions
- Skin conditions
- Medications affecting circulation or sensitivity
Failure to disclose relevant information may increase the risk of discomfort or injury. Laguna Elite Wellness is not responsible for issues resulting from undisclosed health conditions.
Eligibility
Our services are available to clients 18 years of age or older. Clients under 18 may only be booked with the informed consent and presence of a parent or legal guardian.
Mobile Massage Disclaimer & Therapist Safety
Laguna Elite Wellness provides mobile massage services at homes, hotels, offices, and other approved locations. Clients are responsible for providing a safe, clean, and appropriate environment for the massage session, free of weapons, aggressive animals, or any other safety hazard to the therapist.
Laguna Elite Wellness reserves the right to refuse or terminate a session at any time if the environment is unsafe, inappropriate, or uncomfortable for the therapist. The full session fee will still apply if a session is terminated for these reasons.
Independent Contractors & Subcontractors
Laguna Elite Wellness works with independent contractors and subcontracted massage therapists to provide services across our locations. Each subcontracted therapist holds their own valid professional license and carries their own liability insurance.
Laguna Elite Wellness is not responsible or liable for the individual actions, conduct, or professional judgment of independent subcontractors while providing services.
Results Disclaimer
Massage therapy results may vary from person to person. While many clients experience relaxation, reduced tension, and improved mobility, specific results cannot be guaranteed.
Laguna Elite Wellness makes no guarantees regarding outcomes or benefits from massage therapy services.
Professional Boundaries
Laguna Elite Wellness provides strictly professional and therapeutic massage services only. Sexual services of any kind are neither offered nor tolerated under any circumstances, and no request for such services will be entertained.
Any inappropriate behavior, sexual solicitation, harassment, or misconduct by a client will result in the immediate termination of the session, with no refund. Laguna Elite Wellness reserves the right to refuse future services to that client and, where warranted, to report the incident to local law enforcement.
Clients remain responsible for the full session fee if a session is terminated due to inappropriate conduct.
Liability Disclaimer
Laguna Elite Wellness is not liable for injuries or damages that may occur during or after a session if the client fails to disclose medical conditions or does not follow therapist recommendations.
Clients accept responsibility for their personal belongings and property during mobile massage sessions.
Assumption of Risk, Release & Indemnification
By booking and receiving a massage session, the client voluntarily assumes all risks associated with massage therapy, including but not limited to soreness, bruising, allergic reaction, or aggravation of a pre-existing condition.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the client releases Laguna Elite Wellness, its owner, employees, and independent contractors from any and all claims, liabilities, or damages arising from the services provided, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Laguna Elite Wellness from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of the client's inaccurate health disclosures, misuse of services, or violation of these policies.
Governing Law, Force Majeure & Insurance
These policies are governed by the laws of the state in which the service is provided (California, Missouri, or Florida), without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If any provision of this Disclaimer is found unenforceable, all remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
Laguna Elite Wellness is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or service interruptions caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, illness, or other emergencies.
Laguna Elite Wellness and its independent contractors maintain their own general liability insurance. Details are available upon request.
